Senior Manager Corporate Strategy.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy to join our Commercial Team. Reporting to the Vice President & Head of Strategy & Marketing and located from one of our facilities in Oxford, UK or Strasbourg/Lyon France, the role supports the focus on defining and delivering the growth strategy for OXB in Europe.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

• The defining of a structured process for gathering, analysing market intelligence,
• Conducting industry and competitive landscape market intelligence to support identifying of growth opportunities as well as responses to competitive threats.
• Devising and implementing an annual rolling strategy definition process with key performance indicators.
• Defining and aligning growth strategy for the relevant geographies
• Aligning the growth (organic/inorganic) strategy with other functions such as Operations & Commercial Teams.
• Oversee and ensure implementation of growth strategies.
• Lead communications with different stakeholders and facilitate change management.
• Perform financial modelling for strategic initiatives,
• Evaluate different business models and calculate financial impact (e.g. define business cases).

We are looking for:

• A Batchelors degree within Science or Business degree with a post graduate degree an advantage (Phd or MBA).
• Experience in Life Science industry preferable in a service environment (e.g. CDMO, CRO, Testing).
• A good understanding of the Pharma and/or Biotech industry.
• Demonstratable competency with strategy development either in a consulting or corporate strategy environment
• Proven experience delivering on Projects within a matrix organization ideally in Corporate Development with a high degree of flexibility.
• A strong communicator able to communicate, collaborate & influence across multiple levels.
