We’re currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join our Manufacturing team. In this role, you will coordinate the safe day to day operations and administrations of a manufacturing area to meet quality, customer demand and cost targets and to deputise for the Head of Manufacturing as required, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
- Taking accountability for the successful operation of designated manufacturing areas, including adherence to schedule and quality output.
- Ensuring designated areas compliance with Quality, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures.
- Creating a positive team dynamic and enable team strong performance and development.
- Implementing agreed manufacturing Key Performance Indicators.
- Developing external client relationships within Pharma/Biotech industry.
- Co-ordinating projects and customer needs for manufacturing.
- Deputising for the Head of Manufacturing during absences.
- Taking accountability for bringing together all support functions in order to keep the area moving forward.
- Perform as the Subject Matter Expert for GMP audits.
We are looking for:
- Degree in a science related subject and/or experience of working to GMP standard.
- Strong knowledge of GMP manufacturing and pharmaceutical quality systems.
- Competent at using data to drive decision making and evaluating safety and quality risk.
- Previous facility and people management experience.
