IFS Lead (Principal IT Support Analyst)

We are currently recruiting for an IFS Lead (Principal IT Support Analyst) to join the IT team. The purpose of this role is to develop, maintain and support our IFS ERP system, providing advice to business teams and always operating within our quality systems.

 

You would be part of a 19 strong IT and Digital team who operate and secure our infrastructure and support the overall digitisation of business processes at OXB.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day IFS operation, 2nd line support and trouble-shooting.
  • Develop and support PL SQL, Custom Events & Actions, Crystal Reporting and BaU development work.
  • Maintain documentation of IFS system changes and developments.
  • Release management including participation in Quality Management System is a major part of the role.
  • Manage vendors including IFS and DBA provider; and work with development partners on larger scale activities.
  • Work with IT Operations colleagues to manage technical operating environments.
  • Work with business process owners to design, specify and implement solutions in IFS.
  • Contribute to IFS upgrade planning decisions.

 

Functional knowledge required in the role:

  • Deep IFS experience is essential ideally gained in a regulated industry. GxP experience preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of hardware, software, networking, security, operating systems and backups.
  • Knowledge and understanding of an Oracle Database and services. Installing and configuring updates, Oracle database backup, refresh, restore and service monitoring.
  • In-depth knowledge of permission sets, user base profiles and troubleshooting system problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.

Initially offered as a 12 month fixed-term contract. Negotiable for the right candidate.
