Following the expansion of our US footprint with the acquisition of a new commercial-scale viral vector facility in Durham, North Carolina we have some new opportunities to join us.

We’re currently recruiting for a Material Handler III to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing warehouse operations in a cGMP-regulated environment, ensuring accurate material handling, inventory integrity, and compliance, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

 

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

  • Execute end-to-end warehouse operations (receiving, inspection, storage, picking, shipping, internal material movement)
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through ERP transactions (e.g., Dynamics 365) and cycle counting activities
  • Lead investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies and non-routine operational issues
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and safety standards; maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Operate and ensure proper use of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, stock pickers)
  • Support manufacturing operations through timely and accurate material staging and delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service levels
  • Provide guidance and informal leadership to junior team members; support onboarding and training
  • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure effective material flow

 

We are Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or relevant certification preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, material handling, and warehouse processes
  • Experience working within ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 or similar)
  • Experience in a cGMP/GDP-regulated environment preferred
  • Forklift operation experience (certification preferred)
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
